Life can be very complicated and the older you get the more complicated it can seem to become.
At least up until the time you either retire or the last of your children leave home!
I think that is why I enjoy reading anything that can explain something about life in a succinct and easy to understand way.

We are all familiar with graphs and pie charts. They typically appear in annual reports and powerpoint presentations to visually represent a set of statistics.
Luckily, the internet has found another use for them. To represent visually some of the more important questions and dilemmas in life.

Another year, another great selection of mug shots
Like passport photos, mug shots have that ability to capture people in the most unflattering ways.
However, unlike passport photos, the mug shot subject does not have an opportunity to prepare for their picture. Which is bad news for the subject but good news for us who appreciate the finer points of mugshot.... more »

Motivation is a great thing.
Unfortunately many of us often need some external stimulation to find our own.
That is where the motivational poster comes in, to inspire you with a stirring image and some choice words.

In the world of street art there is nobody more well known than 'Banksy'. The British artist whose graffiti has made him a household name around much of the world.
Though he began his career as an artist painting on blank walls around London he has now moved on to sold out art shows and more recently, film making (Exit through the gift shop).

Arnold Schwarzenegger turned 63 on July 30 this year and by any measure he has packed an awful lot into those years.
Born in Austria he first rose to fame as a world champion bodybuilder which led into a career as a movie actor in Hollywood. He is now the Governor of California with ambitions to one day become President of the United States.
