Baby Love

Comments:

I think I understand why many women find themselves accused of being unable to talk about anything but their impending or new arrival.

It’s about finding a new love.

Most people are guilty of behaving like a giddy teenager at one stage or another when they fall head over heels and this feeling is not all that different.

I try not to regale friends and colleagues (family is different) with baby stuff unless they ask, but when left to my own devices I think of little else.

The other weekend I noticed that I could see my belly move when bubby kicked me.
I must have spent about half an hour watching her go.

Hubby finds the tiny movements too hard to differentiate from my own breathing and heartbeat, but he can feel the little shoves when he puts his hand on my belly.

I’m full of plans for her room and for looking after her.

I read about the pros and cons of dummies and cloth nappies and about the difficulties and rewards of breast-feeding.

I scour the internet looking for the perfect name for my little sweetheart.

Despite all the inconveniences of pregnancy, and lets face it, some of them aren’t very nice at all, it makes my heart warm when I feel those little kicks that get stronger every day.
