ONE of the most common questions Realmark Residential Applecross licensee and principal Lou Raspa is asked by prospective sellers when he lists their property is how can they help to sell their home and make it more saleable.

This constant query set the wheels in motion and inspired Mr Raspa’s new book How To Quickly And Easily Sell Your Home At Top Dollar.

Mr Raspa said the helpful “how to” guide provided valuable tips and great advice on the best way to present a home and how to choose the right selling agent, plus a section for buyers, because the majority of buyers are sellers as well.

“Most people realise that de-cluttering, a fresh coat of paint and new carpets will increase the appeal of their home but there are so many more things, simple things, that sellers can do to enhance that appeal so that they can achieve a much higher price,” Mr Raspa said.

“A home is typically a person’s most valuable asset and achieving top dollar cannot be left to chance.

“There was so much to cover that the book went from an initial 30 to 40 pages to 114 pages and my plan is to add more sections to the book in the next print run and take it to approximately 250 pages eventually.”

Mr Raspa said his aim when writing the real estate book was to not only give sellers added value but to take the stress of selling out of the equation.

With more than 20 years experience in the real estate industry, the passionate sales specialist and licensed auctioneer has already received high praise from some big names in the property market, including glowing forewords from Real Estate Institute of Australia president David Airey and former REIWA president Rob Druitt.

“They were given a copy of the book to read prior to publishing,” Mr Raspa said.

“I’m thrilled and thankful that they all genuinely found the book to be of real value and they all had very positive comments.”
